The 3rd Grade presented a program at the November PTA meeting. They paid tribute to our Veterans with various recitations, songs and skits. The kids all did a wonderful job. I had a bunch of flags that Grandad had used at some point and we were able to use them to decorate. All but 3 or 4 flags hanging are ours. It looked great.
Midway through the show, the students with family members who had served were brought up on stage so Marc joined Jud.
Jud's part was Gen. Grant, they celebrate the 150th year of the Gettysburg Address with a recitation.
We took in some other things for the set decoration. Jud is holding the shadowbox with the Purple Heart and photo of it being presented to Grandad. Directly behind Jud is a photo of Grandad and Uncle Jud. And on the shelf above that is a shadowbox with Marc's medals and a photo of him in his dress blues.
