School's Out

Jud had a great school year. He made A honor roll every 6 weeks and did fantastic on STAAR testing. So next year we are off to 4th Grade.

Field Day was some messy fun.
3rd Grade Field Trip to the Arboretum was a blast.

Splash Day was a great way to end the school year.
Jud and Kayla say goodbye to Wylie wolf for summer. K moves on to Draper next year, Jud will miss his cohort.

Jud missed the last day of school this year, crazy kid got sick on us.

Welcome Crosby87

Jud and I had an adventure this spring. We met a sweet dog named Trixie, who had 8 puppies. Border collie/lab mixes. We thought it would be a good idea to foster 2, a boy and a girl. Their names were Chip and Tootsie. We took them home and Sheldon was very curious, but also very nervous. We tried for a week and realized that Sheldon just wasn't really excited about having puppies in the house. He liked them outside and played but just not inside.
The story has a happy ending though... My friend Jenn, has two kids and decided she wanted to foster, to adopt BOTH puppies. They are now named Brooke and Cooper. They live close by so we get to see them sometimes. Can't wait to unite them with their brother... This is where the story get interesting.
Chip(Cooper) is the brown with white feet and blue eyes and Tootsie(Brooke) is the blackish brown with white chest.

 MEET CROSBY87!!!!!

Marc, Jud and I went to take some donations to the shelter and met Reese. He is one of the sweet Trixie's litter, brother to Chip and Tootsie. Boy had these pups grown since we first brought the fosters home. We were thinking we could try introducing Sheldon to a pup closer to his size and maybe he would be more comfortable. We promptly renamed him Crosby87 (the 87 is silent), of course Jud came up with that.
This photo is Sheldon's first introduction to Crosby87, I think he wants to play, lol.

The two dogs are fast becoming close buddies. They play like crazy outside, running and wresting. We have our own canine version of WWF. Sheldon does play with him in the house but seems to know tat if things are getting rowdy it is time to head outside. And, if Sheldon needs a break from the puppy, he has a soft bed and toys in Mama's closet he can escape to.

Random April-May

April and May whizzed by in a blur! School was finishing up, with testing and hockey camp was in full swing. We managed to get in some quiet and relaxing moments though.

Jud and I built this awesome Lego Movie theater.

Mother's Day, my boys woke me up with some cuddle time.
Talk about BFFs. Jud and Sheldon have the best time cuddling up together.

Jud and some of his lacrosse friends went to the paintball place and had a blast.

Sheldon wasn't sure how Colt got back under there, but I did tell him it wasn't hinny first.
