Wake Boarding 2

Not sure if this is his happy face or not. He had a blast and whooped and talked smack the whole time.

These are from his first try on the main cable, too. Headed right for the ramp. I have video but it isn't very good and may get an R rating.

Wake Boarding

Jud's first time wake boarding was pretty exciting. He had an instructor, and started out on the smaller  cable, but after he did that for a bit the instructor thought he was ready for the main cable, unfortunately he had forgot to teach Jud how to turn, and I watched Jud head straight for the ramp. He went up mostly laying on his back but landed the jump, lol. The operator stopped the cable, and as you can see the cable taunt over the ramp, Jud still was holding on! Crazy kid got out and went right back to try again.
Main cable take 2! He missed the ramp this time.

MIsc. Days

Mama got creative to help Jud with his shot. I am not going to gear up and let him shoot at me so we used the gear and dressed the gear caddy. Surprisingly he blocked a few, lol.
Jud's bunny Colton is such a sweetie. He likes Jud's dinosaur Romp, but he loves Jud. They have become best buds. I am not sure who will miss who more when school starts.

Summer Hockey

Jud attended Coach Ryan's camp again this year. He had a blast! The boys and coaches work pretty hard all week. Camp starts on the ice at 8:00 then off-ice training, lunch/rest, then back on the ice until 3:00. Jud has a fun group of boys to play with.

The big excitement at camp was Chris Brown of the Phoenix Coyotes training with one of the coaches in his off season. He was a super nice guy and signed everything these 25-30 kids put in front of him. The next time he was at the rink he stayed on the ice and skated around with them for a little bit. Hope these NHL hopefuls someday remember how gracious he was and treat their little fans as nicely.

Jud has a new coach at the rink, Joey Tetarenko, who played several seasons in the NHL. Jud "Googled" Coach Joey and watched him fight, lol.

The Melting Pot

Jud wanted to try fondue so we took him to The Melting Pot. It was a lot of fun. He liked the cheese and the chocolate the best.

Last Stop

Jud really enjoyed the towel creations on the ship. It was fun to come back after dinner and see what was there. We bought a book and Jud started practicing, so if you come visit Jud will be making creatures each night, lol.
Jud and Hayden liked shopping in Mexico. We did not bring home a giant sombrero though.
Jud and Mama goofing off. We had another fun beach/shopping day in Cancun.

Grand Caymen

Grand Caymen was wonderful. We took a private charter out and had such a great day. Our first stop was Sting Ray City. We were the first boat out there and it was crazy to watch the rays come as they heard the boat. These rays have been fed for years and are super tame. Jud was really scared at first and climbed up Marc's back but as you can see below he got over that really quick.
Our next stop was the reefs for some snorkling. The water was a bit rough so Jud and I didn't go out far. Marc and the rest of the group made it to the reef and saw some cool stuff.
Finally we hit Starfish Beach. It was great! After Capt. Sean showed us the starfish we all just swam and the kids collected shells.
This was probably my favorite day of the trip. On our way back in we saw a dolphin playing. He swam right up to the boat and looked up at Jud. Then we did a little shopping before going back to  the ship.
 Jamaica Mon!

We had a great time in Jamaica. We went to The Rose Hall Hilton Resort for the day. There was a great beach, pool with water slides, catamarans,  and all the Red Stripe lager Mama could drink. The boys had fun splashing around and digging in the sand.

We stopped at Margaritaville before heading back to the ship. It was a fun busy day.

Mama and Jud with the ship in the background waiting for us.
A really fun family vacation this year! We took a cruise, it was awesome. Above Jud and his friend are taking the long hike to the ship.
WE checked out some of the fun stuff onboard before leaving dock. Jud loved the ropes course, that is Galveston in the background.
Taking a break in the cabin. We had so much fun.
