Stephanie's Birthday

I am baking an awful lot lately. Better stop or Marc will expect it when he gets home. I baked this Friday to celebrate some friends' birthdays Friday night.


Saturday evening we celebrated Stephanie's birthday. We had a great time, fantastic food, and more memories made. Above, Jud and Ms. Stephanie have a laugh together.

Okay, this is pretty funny. Jud took one of the picks off the cake, a mini margarita, a put it up like he was drinking it. Is it bad my 5 year old know about margaritas? It was empty, by the way.

Easter Celebrations

Saturday was a very nice day, Jud and I headed out to an Easter party with the Cuzzos'. The kids had a great time, even if it was a bit chilly, and this is Texas, windy.


Jud and I spent part of Saturday at his favorite store, Crew Cuts, buying a new linen suit. My boy does like to dress up. He looked so handsome for church.

After church we again went over to the Cuzzos' for some Easter dinner. Ms. Stephanie looks on as the kiddos get ready to check out the Easter loot.

Lamb cake

When I was 4 years old we lived in Alabama, my grandma tried to send me a lamb cake from West Virginia, it didn't arrive well to say the least. So I now have this lamb mold and have once tried to bake the cake. It didn't go well on our first try and this year Jud asked if we could try again. With a little help from my cousin Kim and my cake decorator extraordinaire Danette, we have a pretty good result. Danette decorated the front and set me loose on the back. It looked pretty cute and tasted yummy. Jud loved his part, tasting the batter.

Home Projects

We have had an exciting April. My fridge died so I went and bought new appliances. I had to take down my cabinets to get a big fridge. Below you see my "other husbands" putting them back up. They did a great job putting them up and I think I am done with demolition work for a while.



Jud helped with the touch up painting under the cabinets.


Every year we paint a wooden egg for Easter, this year Jud decided to do dots all over his.

April Fools

We are enjoying a peaceful April so far. Chloe' had a nice birthday. Jud helped her with her gifts. She is 12 years old now, my good dog.

This morning we got up very early for us and had pancake breakfast and egg hunt with our church family. Jud had a great time eating all the good food the men cooked and hunting eggs the ladies prepared.




Got to keep an one eye on the candy at all times, but really look up for a cute pic, please.
